Closing Argument is an independent design studio led by Jenny Kutnow, specialising in contextually-driven signage, wayfinding, murals, branding, and environmental graphics. Based in London, the studio creates thoughtful visual systems that shape how people navigate and experience the built environment.

Jenny has over two decades of experience as an Art Director and Designer, working with organisations such as Education First, Deliveroo, Etsy, Local Projects, OLIN, and Arquitectonica. She holds a B.F.A. in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Past clients include John Lewis, The Royal Academy of Arts, Gensler, Pentagram, Tiffany & Company, Whole Foods Market, Galeries Lafayette, Le BHV Marais, The New Victory Theater, Bloomberg L.P., The National Building Museum, Bumble and Bumble, Omio, Macy’s, and the American Museum of Natural History.

Drawing on experience across education, workplace, exhibition, retail, and public-realm projects, Closing Argument collaborates with architects, planners, and design-led clients to create systems that feel integral to their surroundings. Each project is guided by clarity, research, and craft, grounded in an understanding of how design can enhance both accessibility and appreciation of place, resulting in work that is purposeful, distinctive, and enduring.
